submission Rules
- The contest is open in 6 categories: Wildlife, Macro, Nature, Astro, Landscape & Street.
- A person can participate in all the categories.
- Image size should not be greater than 2000 pixels in the longer and not larger than 5 MB.
- If selected, you will be asked for the RAW files for verification.
- The image must have no border, bigger logo, link to any website, or any other visible references.
- Basic editing, color enhancement, use of filters & cropping of the photo(s) is acceptable.
- Manipulated & composite images are not allowed in the contest.
- UPF reserves the right to assess and disregard any submitted photo.
Awards
- Overall, there will be 3 winners & 2 runners-up.
- 1st prize Gold Medal & Certificate.
- 2nd prize Silver Medal & Certificate.
- 3rd prize Bronze Medal & Certificate.
- A certificate of participation will be given to all the participants.
ENTRY FEES
- There is no entry fee; however, you must pay for framing your own images.
- After the show concludes, you can collect your frame from the hall.
- You can submit up to 5 images for a given theme.
- For example, if you want to participate in all 6 categories, you can send 30 images.
- UPC will notify you by mail or phone regarding the selected images, and you will need to pay the frame cost within the specified timeline.
- For UPC members, the frame cost is ₹1199, while for non-members, it is ₹1599 for each image selected for the exhibition.
- This fee includes the cost of printing and framing the image for display.

The premium-quality frames will be showcased at the prestigious Lalit Kala Akademi in a size of 18×24 inches. The frames will remain the property of the artist, and you can collect them once the exhibition concludes. If you would prefer to have the frames delivered to your address, please arrange that separately.
terms & conditions
- All photos must be taken by the participants themselves and must include all rights to the photograph(s).
- Participants will be asked to provide the RAW files; the original unedited image in JPEG format will be required for authentication.
- The judge’s decision will be final, and no communication will be entertained on this in any case.
- The Organiser reserves the right to change or replace the competition prizes and/or modify the rules and regulations of the competition as and when necessary, with/ without prior notice.
