We are inviting talented artists to submit their finest works for a chance to be featured in our exclusive curated exhibition Chitrabarnali’25. This 7-day show is dedicated to showcasing unique and rare artworks to a global audience of discerning collectors and art enthusiasts.
Submission Rules
The Utkala Photography Foundation Trust is a non-profit community art and photography association that has been actively operating since 2017. It offers exhibition opportunities for individuals of all ages and skill levels, helping to enhance their visibility and reach a global audience.
We invite artists to submit up to 5 artworks for the Chitrabarnali Awards 2025. Please follow these guidelines to ensure your work is reviewed:
Number of Artworks: You may submit up to 5 pieces.
Fee: A minimal curation fee of INR 1000/- per frame is required for the submission of artwork.
File Requirements: Please submit high-resolution images of each artwork in JPEG or PNG format, along with the titles, dimensions, and a brief description of each piece.
Artist Bio: Include a short biography highlighting your artistic journey, achievements, and the inspiration behind your work. This will be published on our website https://www.chitrabarnali.com/artists/
- All entries must have a value, even if marked as NFS (not for sale).
- Art prices are determined by the artist. The organizer does not get involved and cannot provide pricing advice.
- The artist receives 80% of the sale price, while the organizer takes a 20% commission to support the exhibit program.
- While we prefer all artwork to be for sale, we will also accept works that are not for sale (NFS).
- The organizer reserves the right to use photographs of exhibited artwork on its website and for promotional purposes.
- The Art Center retains the right to reject any submission for exhibition for any reason.



Curation Process
After you submit your artwork, it will be reviewed by our team of experienced curators. We are looking for pieces that meet the following criteria:
Exhibit Excellence: High-quality works that demonstrate exceptional creativity and technical skill.
Showcase Uniqueness: Art that stands out for its originality and artistic vision.
What Happens If Your Artwork is Selected?
Showcase in the Chitrabarnali’25: If your artwork is chosen, it will be prominently displayed in our gallery, providing high visibility among collectors and art enthusiasts.
Promotion: Selected pieces may also be featured in our marketing initiatives, including social media, newsletters, and online promotions, to enhance your exposure.
Direct Sales: Your artwork will be available for direct purchase through the gallery, allowing you to connect with potential buyers from around the world.

By submitting your images to the Utkala Photography Foundation Trust, you grant us permission to publish them on our group, Facebook pages, Instagram, magazines, and any other media platforms we may use.
Before submitting your images for publication, you must agree to all the terms and conditions and adhere to the guidelines, which may be updated periodically.
