• REGISTERING yourself is mandatory before submitting any of your images to our Facebook group.
• All images posted to Utkala Photography Foundation Group is part of this contest starting from March 17, 2025.
• The theme for the Students photo contest 2025 is “Open”.
• All registered participants will get a digital certificate to their registered email ID as a token of appreciation.
• The contest is open for online submissions through this LINK only.
• Winning / Nominated images may get rejected if we find that the user hasn’t registered for the contest.
• We may ask for RAW files, in case of any doubts.
• Photos submitted must be at least 1200 pixels on the larger side. Photos must be in JPEG format.
• You can submit 1 image for this contest.
• You are required to provide a unique title & description for each image submitted.
• The image must have no border, bigger logo, link to any website, or any other visible references.
• Basic editing, including color enhancement, the use of filters, and cropping of the Photo(s) is acceptable, provided any such editing does not affect the authenticity and/or genuineness of the Photo(s).
• Manipulated & composite images are not allowed in the group. HDR, Panorama & Stitched photos are permitted wherever required. Only removing the spot of the sensor is allowed.
• Advanced editing is used to create illusions, deceptions, and/or manipulations, and the adding and removing of significant elements within the frame is prohibited.
• Every image uploaded is subject to a moderation process before it becomes visible on the contest page. UPC reserves the right to assess and disregard any submitted photo at our its discretion.
• Photos that portray or otherwise include inappropriate and/or offensive content, including provocative nudity, violence, human rights and/or environmental violation, and/or any other contents deemed to be contrary to the law, religious, cultural & moral traditions and practices of India, are strictly prohibited and will be immediately discarded.
• A participant who submits any such photos may be permanently banned, subject to UPC’s discretion, from participating in any future contests.

A NOTE BEFORE PARTICIPATING:

• All the Photos must be clicked by the participant themselves and must have all the rights of the photograph(s).
• If you choose to include people in your submission, you are responsible for obtaining the necessary releases from the individuals depicted, if required.
• Participants will be asked to provide the RAW files, original unedited images in JPEG format will be required for authentication.
• The judge’s decision will be final and no communication will be entertained on this in any case.
• The Organiser reserves the right to change or replace the competition prizes and/or modify the rules and regulations of the competition as and when necessary, with/ without prior notice.
• For this contest, all participants have to register themselves on the given Google form. Failing to the registration may terminate your prize without any notice and it’ll be transferred to the next deserving candidate.
• 1st prize winners will get a premium responsive photography website under www.chitrabarnali.com.

All photographs and illustrations submitted to us or posted in our Facebook group remain the copyright of their respective owners. By submitting your images to this group, you grant us permission to publish them on our group, Facebook pages, Instagram, magazines, and other media platforms as applicable.
